The Cardinals are coming off a big home
win against the Vikings, smashing
Minnesota 30-17. They enter this week
with extra motivation: win against
division-rival San Francisco and the NFC
West Crown will be there’s for the
second straight year. Two straight years
with the Arizona Cardinals in the
playoffs. Excuse me while I go see if
hell has frozen over. The San
Francisco 49’ers are a far different
team now as opposed to the team that
started the season 3-1. They’ve lost six
of eight and have fallen out of the
playoff hunt. On the plus side, they’re
getting strong performances out of
former first round picks Alex Smith and
Vernon Davis. Knowing that management
hasn’t chosen total busts in the first
round of recent drafts is a silver
lining to an otherwise disappointing
season. What The Cardinals Have To Do
To Win The Cardinals played an amazing
trench game last week. The Cards
offensive line didn’t allow a single
sack against a Minnesota defense that
leads the league in that category. On
the other side of the ball, the Cards
sacked Brett Favre three times; no easy
feat against Minnesota’s vaunted
offensive line. Arizona’s defensive line
also held super-back Adrian Peterson to
just 19 yards on 13 carries, easily one
of his worst offensive performances of
his career. If Arizona can keep the
momentum going in the trenches, they
should have no problem bullying around
the San Francisco big men.

49ers >> Join to Bet Now! What The 49ers Have To Do To
Win One of the major problems with San
Francisco lately has been their lack of
running game. Part of this has to do
with Frank Gore a very small amount of
touches. Last week against Seattle, Gore
only made nine rush attempts, an
embarrassing low number for a runner who
has a 200-yard game under his belt this
season. The 49’ers need to rediscover
their running game if they want any
chance against Arizona. Despite their
brilliant game against Peterson last
week, the Cardinals still stand 30th in
the league in rush defense. The 49’ers
need to pray they won’t be able to
repeat that on Monday.
