The unbeaten and seven point favorite
New Orleans Saints host the “can’t win
in December” Dallas Cowboys in a
Saturday clash at Superdome 8:20 PM ET.
The Saints have the most powerful
offense in the league averaging almost
36 points per game, meanwhile the
Cowboys entered this week as number 3
averaging 22.8, what basically tells you
we are up for a TD parade. The New Orleans Saints top ranked
offense is led by Drew Brees who has 35
TD's this season against 10
interceptions which equates to a QB
rating of 112.3. However, the most
impressive factor is that he spreads the
ball so well that any week anyone on the
Saints team can be an offensive threat.
This makes it hell for opposing defenses
to prepare to defend against New
Orleans.

making the plays in crunch time. When
we're called upon to make them, we're
making them," said Brees. "We call that
being battle-tested. They're only going
to get harder from here on out. We're
going to get everyone's best game." In the last few games the concern for
the Saints has to be their defense. Even
though the defense is still forcing
turnovers they are allowing a lot of
yards. "This team has got to stick together
and make it happen," tight end Jason
Witten said. "You can't wait. You can't
wait anymore." Tony Romo played well the last two
games, passing for 641 yards with five
touchdowns and no interceptions, but he
is 5-10 in December starts. Dallas has a
simple offense where Miles Austin and
Jason Witten are the main targets but if
they want to win this one they need to
find several weapons in other to beat a
playmaking secondary like the one the
Saints own. On defense, the Dallas Cowboys are
barely average and it will show when
they visit New Orleans, especially with
their best pass rusher, DaMarcus Ware,
now questionable after suffering a
sprained neck against the Chargers last
week. "If he's cleared medically then he
could play," Coach Wade Phillips said.
"There's a possibility that could
happen."
