Monday Night’s game between the Green
Bay Packers and the Baltimore Ravens has
deep playoff implications for both
teams. The Packers hold a wild card
playoff spot but that could change with
a loss Monday night, the Ravens are
currently on the outside looking in but
a win will push them to 7-5 and give
them more control in the playoff race as
their remaining opponents hold a combine
.400 win percentage. At first glance,
the line seems like a no brainer in
favor of the Green Bay Packers, as Aaron
Rodgers and his team have been putting
up huge offensive numbers including 48
in their Thanksgiving dismantling of the
lowly Detroit Lions. However, all five
of the Ravens losses this year have been
by a combined point total of 23 or 4.6 a
game. The
NFL Betting Line Baltimore Ravens +3 (Even)
+160 O43.5 On offense, the Packers hold a
decisive advantage. In the past three
games, Aaron Rodgers has completed 70.8
percent of this passes for 881 yards, 6
TDs and no interceptions but the
Baltimore defense will make it more
difficult for Rodgers to move the ball.
The Ravens defense, which had troubles
early in the season, had a strong
November giving up an average of only
11.6 points in five games.

Bet! Green Bay’s defense has been the best
in the league; defensive coordinator Dom
Capers transformed the Packers into a
3-4 system and the result is a league
low 281.5 yards given up a game. That
doesn’t bode well for a Ravens offense
that started the season strong but has
become ineffective and incapable of
finding the end zone. Joe Flacco threw
his first TD in four games last week. The
Online Football Betting bottom line The Baltimore Ravens can win if the
defense can slow down the Packers
offense, their best chance of doing so
will be to get to Aaron Rodgers. Rodgers
has been left unprotected by his
offensive line far too many times this
season, forcing him to take bad sacks or
make unnecessary throws both are a
recipe for disaster against the Ravens
defense. Joe Flacco needs to move the
ball and Ray Rice needs to find the end
zone. The Green Bay Packers can win if
their offensive line can protect Aaron
Rodgers in the pocket, allowing him time
to connect with Donald Driver and Greg
Jennings with regularity. The defense
will be up for the challenge and I don’t
see Joe Flacco having a big game against
the Packers.
