The Big 12 Wrap Up and Championship
Tony George Dec 1, 2008
By Tony George

Plaxico Buress was not the only person to shoot himself in the leg this weekend, as Missouri shot themselves on national television with a surprising loss to Kansas as a 14+ point favorite, while Oklahoma scored 61 points on the 11th ranked team in the nation, jumped Texas in BCS ratings. Now Oklahoma has a date with either Florida or Alabama in a national title game after ...  read more

The Big 12 Report- The Red Raiders are King for a Week!
Tony George Nov 13, 2008
By Tony George

If there was any doubt that Texas Tech was a one hit wonder against Texas the week before, those doubts were silenced is a behind the woodshed beating of Oklahoma State on national TV Saturday Night as QB Harrell threw 6 Td passes and the Red Raiders rolled a very good Okie State team (as I predicted in this blog last week). With a week off to prepare for the Big 12 South Sh ...  read more

The Big 12 Report - Showdown in Lubbock Part II
Tony George Nov 5, 2008
Another barn burner last week in the Big 12, where the Texas Tech Red Raiders showed their prowess against a weary but yet very good Texas team last week in a thriller in Lubbock. Quarterback Graham Harrell threw all over Texas and Mike Crabtree proved again to warrant Heisman consideration, as he is totally uncoverable for any team in the NCAA. He broke away from tight double coverage on the ...  read more
The Big 12 report - Showdown in Lubbock Texas!

ANOTHER Sweep in my Big 12 Selections last week, 2-0 in my report and we unloaded on Oklahoma State +12 for my game of the week, who had a chance to win one down in Austin Texas last Saturday but fell 4 points short. There should be no disappointment in Stillwater this this week, the Cowboys played punch for punch with Texas in front of the largest crowd ever in the state of ...  read more

The Big 12 Report- The Taming of the Tigers
Tony George Oct 22, 2008
By Tony George

If there was any doubts who the best team in the Big 12 is to this point, those doubts were silenced in a Texas style ass kicking of Mizzou Saturday Night. That was one of my free play winners last week in my report for you, the other was Nebraska who covered big. Take it from me, I have seen Mizzou play twice in person this season, and they are a talented and explosive tea ...  read more

The Big 12 Report- From the Penthouse to the Outhouse
Tony George Oct 15, 2008
Lets forget for a moment I laid the wood with Oklahoma and Missouri last week. There was a moment of clarity last week for me and millions of Big 12 fans. Running the football wins big games, and that has always been a staple of the Big 12 conference. Mizzou managed a total meltdown as the score did not indicate the can of whoop ass that Oklahoma State pulled out on them at home. Not only wa ...  read more
Monday Night Browns and Giants Teaser
Tony George Oct 13, 2008
Some wild games and results on Sunday but will they carry over to tonight? I went 2-2 on Sunday and after what I saw in terms of last minute covers and wins, I am taking the approach that I simply am not forcing a play tonight, I am uncertain on this game. Are the Giants the best team in football? They have not played anyone yet except Washington, who were beaten by the Rams at home yesterday. ...  read more
NCAA Football more than a little Confusing
Tony George Oct 12, 2008
After the past 2 or 3 Saturdays, and after 17 years capping games for a living and having thought I had almost seen it all, I have to admit being a handicapper right now is no doubt what it feels to be a like stockbroker in these wild economic times, just watch the ticker and scratch your head and say WTF?

Oklahoma, LSU (which really wasn't an upset but 51-21?), Missouri, Texas Tech ...  read more

Big 12 Report - Judgement Day in Texas
Tony George Oct 8, 2008
Wow what a week in the Big 12, and to note, ALL 3 of my free plays covered from my report last week guys, AND I cashed my Big 12 Game of the Month on Missouri -10, and also cashed in Texas Tech, both plays on my Triple Header card last weekend, which is awesome considering it was the first weekend of conference action. Missouri flexed their muscle in Lincoln Nebraska, a game I was at, in a big ...  read more
The Big 12 Report
Tony George Oct 1, 2008
Conference action opens up finally for the Big 12 this Saturday. While other conferences like the SEC, ACC, Big 10 and PAC 10 have opened up conference play, with some major upsets already in those conferences, The Big 12 has established 5 teams in the Top 25 and 2 teams in the Top 3. Look for Missouri and Oklahoma to be the power of this conference this season once again, and no doubt butt head ...  read more
Monday Morning Headache Check
Tony George Sep 29, 2008
What a weekend in College and Pro Football it was. To say it was full of head scratching moments for lack of a better term is an understatement. I am not immune to to a bad weekend every now and then, as there is nothing I have not experienced in my 17 years as a Pro Handicapper, but this past weekend was one of my worst on record. I have always prided myself as a guy who is in a business arena ...  read more
Baseball Profits soon forgotten - Wake up!
Tony George Sep 20, 2008
Yes, the King of all wagering sports is in full swing, that would be football. Year in and year out it amazes me that action junkies wait till football to unload 10 or more games a weekend in football, and pound Monday Night football with all they have to chase losses or attempt to double up on profits. You are forgetting one thing, the money is just as green if not greener in MLB this time of ...  read more

Wow! More and more surprises as many teams, especially in College Football are starting to show their true colors, which has made my season to date miserable in College Ball predictions, but I will turn the tide this week with a some Monster plays based on the lines I have seen. That is when 17 years of experience, especially with some rough starts as in the past, comes into play and I fire ba ...  read more

NFL Team regular season totals predictions
Tony George Aug 1, 2008
While not a big fan of exotic wagers, I do at the beginning of the year look at over and under win totals on NFL teams for the season as a good way to make a long term investment. Forget ESPN and all the others, and listen to the Pro's guys, as this is not glossed over for TV, but the real deal. Too much public perception leads to Vegas cashing in year after year. After considering the free a ...  read more

Is Oklahoma the best team in the Big 12 in 2008?
Tony George Jul 15, 2008
I enter my 17th as a pro capper this season, and when I started out it was the Big 8, and now the Big 12, which is my specialty conference. Off another 65% ATS in this conference, and a sweep of the bowl games with Big 12 teams last year, I once again look at this conference as a major player in the national title hunt in 2008. Numerous teams may surprise you this season, with some new blood at ...  read more

PartyGaming May Have to Pay US$20 Million

Publicly traded online poker firm, PartyGaming, may end up paying the US government $20 million, assuming US officials plan on being especially generous. The number is also based on the US government wanting 15 per cent back in tax monies.
