Big Al McMordie
ON FIRE! Al McMordie has cashed 12 of his last 16 here, and scored big yesterday with the Rockies/Dodgers Over. Today, it's a DIVISION GAME OF THE MONTH WINNER, and Al's also posted 2 EXTREMELY STRONG NFL PLAYS!

| Al McMordie is the most honored technical handicapper in the country. In 2007, Big Al won the $100,000 World Series of Sports Handicapping and also finished #1 in March Madness. In 2004, Al won the most prestigious handicapping contest in Las Vegas -- The Stardust Invitational. Overall, in the last 16 years, Big Al has garnered 34 NUMBER ONE awards in Football, Basketball, and Baseball; 133 Top 5 finishes; and 250 Top 10 finishes. Al is a featured handicapper both on National TV and Radio, as well as at the most prestigious gambling web sites. Additionally, in 2002, Big Al was featured in FHM Magazine.
In 2000, Al was 157-114 in football, including 10-0 (100%) in the NFL Playoffs. Al has won 12 of his 16 football seasons. Another highlight of Al's career came in 1997, when Big Al was ranked #1 by SPORTS WATCH in College Football/NFL Win Percentage and #1 in College Football Regular Season/Bowls by THE SPORTS MONITOR. Al has one of the best basketball records over the past 16 seasons (winning 13 of 16 years), and was ranked #1 in baseball for the 1996 and 2001 seasons. For consistency across all three sports, you can count on Al McMordie.
Indeed, the Las Vegas Sporting News recognized Al in its December 17, 1996 issue, and wrote that: "[Al's] honesty, integrity, [and] skills...are obvious....We have been impressed by [his] uncanny ability to pick big underdogs that win the game straight-up....We've seen handicappers come and go, and get hot and cold, but no one has been as consistent over time as McMordie, and we strongly urge you to consider him as your handicapper."
Besides being a champion handicapper, Al McMordie is a corporate attorney, earning his undergraduate and law degrees from the University of Michigan. |

At 8:05pm our complimentary selection is on the Detroit Tigers and Texas Rangers 'under' the total. Detroit's 26-year-old righthanded starter Armando Galarraga has not only tossed his hat into the ring for AL Rookie of the Year honors, he has thrown it in with authority. With the recent injury to Tampa's 3b Evan Longoria, Galarraga may now have put himself into the lead, even though he is a pitcher and this award seems to favor hitters. This is Galarraga's first ever start vs. the Rangers and he may have a little extra incentive tonight because Texas is the team which traded him to Detroit during the offseason. He has been very good on the road this season, going 7-2 with a 2.72 ERA away from Comerica Park. The Rangers will be without their main sparkplug as everyday leadoff hitter and second baseman Ian Kinsler was recently placed on the DL with what is being called a sports hernia. Kinsler may be on the shelf for the rest of the season if he opts for surgery, which is the normal course of action for this type of injury. The Rangers won't want to take any chances with their 26-year-old All Star, so don't look for Kinsler back any time soon. His continued loss should be felt on the scoreboard as his replacement Ramon Vazquez is a light hitter with only 6 homers in 266 at bats and more importantly, no steals. Without Kinsler, there is virtually nobody in this lineup who is a threat on the basepaths. Even with Monday's 8-7 run-fest, the under is still 7-3-2 in the last twelve meetings between these two teams. Take the 'under'. As always, good luck...Al McMordie.
Al McMordie CASHED his Big Totals play on Monday afternoon with the 'under' in the Mets/Pirates game. Congrats to all who joined. Big Al's on a 73% (11-4) HOT STREAK here, and has another EASY OVER/UNDER WINNER for you on Tuesday night. Get on it.

At 10:10pm our selection is on the Colorado Rockies and Los Angeles Dodgers 'over' the total. It's still less than a month after the trade deadline, but the early returns would seem to indicate that the three-way deal that the Dodgers pulled off with Boston and Pittsburgh has given them exactly what they wanted, which is an offensive spark. With the Dodgers' dramatic 7-5 victory over Milwaukee on Sunday, courtesy of a bottom-of-the-ninth, 2-run, walk-off homer by outfielder Andre Ethier (his second home run of the game), the Dodgers have now won six of their last seven games, sweeping the Phillies in a four-game series, and then following that up with two out of three from the Brewers. In the process, the Dodger lineup has resembled the Red Sox as they have scored 37 runs in those seven games, and never once scored less than three. And all of this is made even more impressive by the fact that all seven of those games were played here at Chavez Ravine, one of the most pitcher-friendly parks in all of baseball. Ramirez had another big game on Sunday, but even in games when he doesn't make an impact, he makes the opposing team's pitcher alter his plan and gives the young players on the Dodgers a little extra motivation. If there is bad news for the Dodgers, it's that in many of these games they have needed all the runs they can get because their pitching and defense has been less than stellar recently. Tonight, LA will face Ubaldo Jimenez, who has gotten rocked over his last two starts. He's surrendered 19 hits and eight walks in his last 11 innings. And on the road this year, Jimenez' WHIP is an unsightly 1.77. These two pitchers faced off against each other in LA's 8-7 win on April 25, and there were 30 combined hits in that game. Look for another slugfest tonight. Take the 'over'. As always, good luck...Al McMordie.

NFL Season Win Totals: A Forecast |

Jul 10, 2008 |
<>With the NFL season just around the corner, this is good time to look at what might happen this fall on the gridiron. Future numbers are out for each team. A year ago in this column I looked at the Jacksonville Jaguars, who were projected at 8 ½ wins, and wrote: “Jacksonville might have been the best 8-8 football team in NFL history in 2006. Their offense ranked 10th in the NFL (3rd in rushing) ...

| New York Yankees vs. Toronto Blue Jays (MLB) - Aug 20, 2008 7:05 PM EDT |
|
| Play: Total: 9.5/-119 Under Play Title: Big Al's FREE Wednesday Baseball Winner. |
At 7:05pm our complimentary selection is on the New York Yankees and Toronto Blue Jays 'under' the total. Two lefties will go to the mound in this Wednesday night divisional matchup. One is a well-known veteran in Andy Pettitte while the other is a virtual unknown in 26-year-old rookie David Purcey. Purcey really hasn't pitched that well for Toronto, but he saved his rotation spot with his last start, by far his best of the season (and of his short Major League career) as he threw six shutout innings while limiting a strong Detroit Tiger lineup to only two hits in Detroit. The Yankees have certainly had their share of problems this season, and one of the many issues has been their trouble hitting lefthanders. They are barely batting .260 against southpaws so far and that, combined with their many injuries is keeping them from contention as we head into the last month of the regular season. With last night's 2-1 pitchers' duel at Rogers Centre, five of the last six games played here between these two squads have gone a total of five runs or fewer. The under is also 14-3 in Toronto's last 17 home games and 15-5-1 in their last 21 overall as well as 11-3 in Pettitte's last 14 road starts. Pettitte has faced Toronto five times since coming back to New York at the beginning of 2007, and only one of those games has gone over five runs, and even that one last August, was only nine runs total. Take the 'under'. As always, good luck...Al McMordie.
Al McMordie WON AGAIN on Tuesday with the 'over' in the Dodgers/Rockies game, and Big Al's now CASHED 12 of his last 16 here. On Wednesday, Al looks to extend his 12-4 HOT STREAK with a RARE Division Game of the Month release. Get this HUGE WINNER right now.

| Big Al McMordie Release Times |
| My football plays are released as early as Monday in advance of the weekend. And some games are released closer to game time, including the day of the game. The majority of the games are released well in advance. For basketball and baseball, the plays are released overnight. |
| |
| Big Al McMordie Rating System |
| My games are rated up to 5 stars. |
| |
| Big Al McMordie Money Management |
| I recommend players bet a consistent amount on my plays that is NOT tied to whether their bankroll is increasing or decreasing. For example, a 5* play in December should be worth the same amount as a 5* play in September, even if one has a larger bankroll. |
