PHI -1.5 (-135): PHI has won 6 in a row and have really been playing like we all thought they would all year. Good news for Halladay is they are scoring runs which he has not recieved in many of his starts. Halladay is 3-0 in his last four starts at home while allowing one run in 33 innings, none in the last 25. The right-hander hasn't faced the Diamondbacks (37-63) since 2004, but he is 2-0 with a 3.86 ERA in two career starts against them. He will be opposed by Jackson who has been a play against since throwing the no hitter. Over that stretch he has a 6.85 ERA in four starts since throwing a no-hitter at Tampa Bay end of June. Hitting now is a big advantage for PHI as they are hitting up and down lineup verse an ARI team that leads the majors in strikeouts and has one of the worst batting averages. Easy win here.

NYM -118: Great pitching mathup that might be a near push but the advantage goes to the lineups. NYM are coming off best hitting performance in a long time against great pitcher Wainright. Think they continue to stay hot today. STL is coming off really 4 straight games where they are hitting less than .200 with runners in scoring position. Santana has been great as of late and think he has just a slight edge as he goes deeper into games than does Garcia for STL. good value here.

CHW -1.5 (126): Will make this short and sweet the CHW have won 10 in a row at home and are 8-1 overall on the season head to head with the lowly Mariners. Pauley goes for SEA who faced the CHW on 7/19 and gave up 5 runs as CHW cruised to 6-1 win. Garcia goes for CHW and even with a rough last outing we think he is sitting on really good start. Will help that SEA is only 2-9 in last 11 road games hitting under .250 in those games. Easy winner here as the CHW take advantage of a team that is just really bad.
