4 Unit Play. #592 Take Weber State over Portland State (9 pm Altitude) Payback is best served on the court tonight when the Wildcats welcome in the Vikings to Ogden, UT for this semi-final match-up in the Big Sky Conference. The Vikings defeated the Wildcats by five points on February 28th and that game was poorly officiated and it was not in the favor of the visitor. This game is at Dee Events Center and Weber State is 12-1 this season at home. The Wildcats are 25-6 ATS in their last 31 games following a straight-up loss. The Wildcats are 7-2 ATS in their last nine games with the Vikings. Portland State gets bounced and we collect big in the process as well.

4 Unit Play Take Philadelphia vs. N.Y. Islanders (7 pm ET) - January 9. That's two months ago today. That's also the last time the Islanders won a road game. They've lost seven since, and six of the seven have been by multiple goals. They've lost their last two games, and still haven't found a consistent goaltender that they can rely on, or one that can allow fewer than three goals in a game - they've allowd three or more goals in every game since the start of February. Overall, they have won just nine of 33 road games so this isn't a good spot for them. The Flyers have won their last four at home, and 10 of their last 12. The two teams have met four times already this year, and Philadelphia has won all four. A sweep certainly seems possible, and perhaps even likely. Philadelphia is quite clearly the better team here, and the numbers give them a massive edge, so there is good value here.

4 Unit Play. #588 Take Butler over Wright State (9 pm ESPN) Butler lost this championship game last year to Cleveland State and I just do not believe that will happen again on Tuesday against the Raiders. Butler beat Wright State twice this season with both victories coming by double digits. That is how I expect this game to go as well with the Raiders struggling to reach sixty points. The Bulldogs are playing for a five seed with an impressive performance on Tuesday. This is a chance for them to make a statement with a national audience watching. Wright State is just 1-11 ATS (1 push) in their last 13 road games. Butler has covered four of the last five meetings with Wright State.

Free NBA pick for Tuesday from Doc’s Sports (5-0 run the last two nights and Doc’s loves the card for Tuesday and has three picks with 11 total units on the board) - #558 Take Charlotte -3 ½ Over Miami (7 p.m. EST, Tuesday) – The Bobcats, normally one of the best teams ATS the last couple years, have seen a drop in their production at the betting window due to recent struggles and we just think the bookies have made too big of a move here in adjusting this line. Even though the Bobcats are 4-9 ATS in their last 13 they seem to be getting it together and two of those wins came in their last two and both on this court. We just don’t have any faith in Miami on the road. They have played pretty well on the road lately but their wins have come against weak opponents for the most part, with only one win coming against a playoff-caliber squad. Charlotte is a completely different team at home than on the road and if they played even nearly as well on the road as they do at home they would be one of the top seeds from the East instead of fighting for a playoff spot in general. The Bobcats have won two straight in this series, one home and one away, and have covered in five of the last six.

4 Unit Play. #574 Take Seton Hall over Providence (7 pm ESPN U) The Friars are the worst defensive team in the country that these eyes have seen and expect them to get bounced in day one of the Big East Tournament. This game means much more to the Pirates since they are on the bubble and need at least two wins to be considered for the NCAA Tournament come Sunday. The Friars have lost ten straight games and that includes a 12-point loss to the Pirates in Rhode Island on March 6th. I truly expect Jeremy Hazell to go for 30-plus points this evening. Seton Hall is 9-4 ATS in the last 13 match-ups between these two schools.
