Tony George, President and CEO of Tony George Sports (formerly Midwest Sports Consultants) and Sports Audio Shows, is one of the most consistent and most respected handicappers in the sports gaming world.
Based in Kansas City, MO, formerly of Lincoln , NE, George started his business in 1992 with the idea that sports handicapping shouldn't be exempt from ethical conduct. George's full-time firm dedicates itself solely to winning and places expectations high.
George has always been a self-confessed "controlled action junkie." An All-State athlete in three sports and a football player in Div. II football, George has a keen insight into sports as well as contacts like few professional handicappers do.
His first big break came in 1991, when he won a small contest at the Horseshoe in Las Vegas after one of the Binion's - one of Las Vegas' most famous families - encouraged him to enter. Soon other players started to inquire about his picks. George began his phone service and soon after he found himself in the top ten of Jack Stewart's Sportswatch, one of the first handicapper monitoring services.
George became one of the first cappers to sell a play on the Internet when he set up online in 1995. He's a proud member of the VMG group, featuring Sports Audio Shows, as well as a present or past contributor to numerous large gaming portals such as Covers, Covers Experts, 10 Star Picks, Gambling 911, Locksmith Sports, Phoenix Sports, Vernon Croy Sports, , Superior Sports, Gamblers World, Buzz Dalys Players Guide, The Sports Network, OSGA, The Pregame and Pregame Pros (current), Cappers Picks.com, Top 10 Cappers.com, and has had appearances on Vegas Insider, Sports Wire Radio contest (finishedd 2nd out of 10 ), and others too numerous to mention that he has appeared on over the past 18 years.
But radio is what sets George apart from most handicappers. He's appeared on several radio shows including CBS Sports By Line, Vegas Sportswire, Armed Forces Radio, Cable Radio Network, Right on the Line on the Sirius satellite network, and he hosted the Tony George show on the Internet for 6 years, and on ESPN 1480 in Lincoln, NE (1998 to 2006), plus other regional markets. In 2010 Tony will enter the Kansas City markets, as well as a weekly national podcast on the Internet in 2010, and a video weekly podcast in high quality as well, a 20 minute show. Tony is also host of the nationally syndicated "The American Outdoorsman Radio Show" with 3 million weekly listeners, as he is an avid Hunter and Fisherman in his spare time.
Ultimately it's the results that keep the players coming back and George - who boasts some of the most impressive numbers in the business. His firm, which has been ranked in the top 10 in different sports 45 times at different sports monitors since 1996 and he won the Ultimate Handicapping Challenge in the NFL in 2003, placed 5th in the Golden Nugget contest in Vegas in 2005, and placed 4th in the Reserve Casino Contest in Vegas in 2000. Tony also placed in the top 10 at the Stardust World Series of Poker qualifier in 2005, furthering his gambling prowess and has appeared in the World Series of Poker's main event (never made the money).

Wow. The Twins won 11-2 last night after a 19-1 ass beating on Monday and my Game of the Month 2 star was on the Twins last night as I have rode them in both games in this series. Bannister for KC will get lit up again this afternoon. KCs bullpen is disarray and they cannot hit a softball right now. The Twins are DOMINATING the Royals, 51-19 combined scoring in the last 5 games in this series, just UNREAL this number is under -150 today. KC is a serious tailspin and are not playing well or are even focused.

Off a 2-0 loss on Tuesday and down 0-1 in this heated series, I expect the Pads at home to take this one tonight. If look at the Dodgers batting numbers the last 10 games, it is a wonder they are winning any games, at .198 against southpaws and just .217 against right handers their last 10 games. I have a hotter starter for the Pads at home tonight with less than a 3 ERA his last 3 games, a better hitting, and if LA goes to the bullpen and pulls out any lefties, the Pads are railing southpaws at .309 as a team the last 10. The Pads start a left hander pitcher with under a 4 ERA on the season tonight. Low scoring game again, but I like the Pads in a tight one at a cheap number in a game they want to win.

| I AM A LOW VOLUME capper, I do not spread it all over the place daily! FYI - LESS IS MORE
1-4 units. A 1 Unit play is your normal wager. If you are a $200 player, then that is your 1 unit Play. If I have a 3 Unit Play, that means 3x your normal wager, or for a $200 player, a $660 wager (juice included) at 11 to 10 odds. I like to flat bet selections, meaning equal amount of money on every play.
Our main approach on Top Plays, or multi-unit Plays, is to place a 2-4 Unit wager when we are on a roll and playing on the houses money. We have maybe 10-14 Plays like this, per sports season, in each sport. A Game of the Year is just that, THE Game of the Year and there usually is a Side and Total each season in each sport for this 4 Unit scenario, and I hit a high percentage of these plays. WE DO NOT HYPE SPORTS PLAYS HERE WEEKLY WITH GOY Scenario's. When they occur, wager with extreme confidence. |

| Flat bet your plays unless a Top Play, that usually occurs when I know my clients are playing on the houses money! 90% of my Plays are "Flat bet scenarios" That is equal amounts of money on every play, each time we make a selection.
In Basketball College or Pro, BET AS EARLY AS POSSIBLE AND BE SURE TO HAVE AT LEAST 2 BOOKS TO SHOP YOUR LINES, THIS CANNOT BE STRESSED ENOUGH! Same with Mloneyline MLB wagers, one book may have -145 and another -133 on the same game, it adds up quickly guys.
This money management advise is worth 10-15 units a season! Same goes for football. I post Sundays NFL Plays on Thursday or Friday at the latest. THIS IS FOR LINE VALUE, not longer sales time. We are here to win!
Games of the Year are usually 3-4 units and my Top plays are 2 units. Otherwise all plays are flat bet at 1 Unit Each. I do not hype games and have you drain bankrolls on 1 play. A Game of the year should never exceed 20% of bankroll or budget. |
